Utilizing every available minute in Middle School orchestra classes can be challenging and this session will help design classes to run like a “well-oiled” machine. Topics include strategies for running a tight ship (minimizing interruptions!), teaching solid fundamentals, breaking down educational concepts for students, and keeping all kids engaged and active during class. Ms. Shade will also focus on teacher expectations and will pinpoint what is realistic and appropriate for this age level.
