Todd Wilson currently serves as the Pastor for Worship and Music at First Baptist Church in Abilene, a position he has held since December 2002. Mr. Wilson has also served churches in Wills Point, Tyler, San Marcos, Grapevine, White Settlement and Henderson, Texas as well as holding adjunct teaching positions at Texas State University, Hardin-Simmons University, and Logsdon Seminary. After earning the Bachelor of Science degree in Vocal Music Education (K-12) from William Jewell College, Liberty, Missouri, Todd received a Master of Music in Church Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.
Mr. Wilson has served as a clinician and adjudicator at local middle schools and high schools and has sat under the conducting tutelage of Donald Neuen, Anton Armstrong, Alan Raines, and Loyd Hawthorne. Todd is the past president and assistant conductor of the Centurymen, a nationally auditioned men’s chorus and serves as director of the Singing Men of West Texas. Mr. Wilson is married to Michele Gilmore Wilson who teaches music at Alcorta Elementary in Abilene, and is father to daughter, Mackenzie Wilson, of Austin, and son and daughter-in-law of Landon & Katie Wilson, of Dallas.
