North Garland HS
Roy Enriquez received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas in 2006. Mr. Enriquez has directed orchestras at Jackson Technology Center of Mathematics and Sciences in Garland ISD for the last seventeen years, where he has grown the program from a little over one hundred to a size of 262 members. This coming school year he will continue his career at North Garland High School. His orchestras have consistently received Sweepstakes ratings at UIL competitions and Superior ratings at local festivals. He is a member of TMEA, TODA and TMAA and has served as a clinician and conductor in North Texas. He has a passion for music education and loves to share the gift of music with young musicians and colleagues. In his free time, he enjoys teaching the intermediate and advanced classes of the Bishnu Gosh Yoga Series. Mr. Enriquez lives in Richardson with his husband Joseph and enjoys cuddling with his cat, Phoenix and walking his dogs Jackson and Ranger.
