If you’ve wondered if you can perform professionally while maintaining a successful choral program, this session intends to express that it CAN be done! As directors actively involved in and out of the classroom, Calaham and Saenz will share their experiences as members of professional performing ensembles such as Turtle Creek Chorale, Fort Worth Chorale, and more. While you may not realize the educational benefits of being an active performing teacher, Calaham and Saenz will share how their membership in these groups has impacted their life as young educators and informed their teaching in the classroom.
